Four people, one room, a lot of paint.
HEATER is a four-person studio in Roma Norte, Mexico City. We do identity, web, custom type, and photography — mostly together, sometimes on the side. Founded 2023 after we got tired of making things that didn't show up.
(01) — Manifesto
Quiet design loses in your feed.
Most modern brands look like they were designed by committee — sanded, optimised, A/B tested to oblivion. The result is forgettable, even when it's good. We don't make forgettable things.
We believe a brand has roughly half a second to register on a phone screen before the thumb moves. Half a second. That doesn't mean louder for the sake of louder — it means clearer, sharper, more confident. Quietly excellent design has its place. Just not in your feed.
We work with clients who want their brand to do something — sell, organise, energise, polarise. Not clients who want their brand to "match competitors." If that's you, there are nine thousand other studios on the same Are.na board.

Three phases. No mystery.
01
Brief & bet
A half-hour call, then a written brief. We tell you what we'd bet the project on, and what we wouldn't. If we don't have a strong bet, we say so — and recommend someone who does.

Two rounds
We show you two directions, not three or seven. You pick one. We refine it together over two rounds — never more. If we need a third, something earlier broke.
03
Build & hand off
We deliver clean files, real CSS, and a 30-minute walkthrough call. You own everything. We're around for six months of free email support after launch.
